A leading recruitment consultancy is looking for a Business Manager to establish and grow a new branch in Milan. This individual will lead client development in energy and industrial sectors, recruit staff, and manage business performance, all while working closely with the Paris headquarters. Ideal candidates are bilingual in Italian and English with a background in business development or consulting.

Competenze

Today, we are hiring a Business Manager (M / F) for a fast-growing engineering consulting firm with strong expertise in the energy, gas, construction, and industrial sectors .

Our client is expanding its operations and has a business unit in Milan , and we are looking for a bilingual Italian-English speaking Business Manager to lead and develop this activity.

You'll be the first person on site , with the mission to launch and grow the Milan branch with the support of the Paris headquarters. It’s the perfect opportunity for a motivated, hands-on professional who wants to build a business from the ground up while benefiting from the structure of a well-established company.

Your responsibilities

Develop and manage your client portfolio in the energy, industrial, and infrastructure sectors .

Identify and qualify business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and follow up with clients.

Recruit and manage a team of consultants (target : 1 Business Manager + 1 Recruiter in the short term).

Follow KPIs and business performance (revenue, margin, client satisfaction).

Represent the company’s engineering know-how and values with energy and professionalism.

Who you are

Fluent in Italian and English – French is a plus

6 months to 1 year of experience in business development, recruitment, or engineering consulting

Strong commercial mindset and the ability to work in a volume-driven culture

Entrepreneurial, ambitious, and eager to grow with a fast-paced team

Experience or interest in the energy, industrial or construction sectors

Based in Milan or willing to relocate

Salary : €28–30K base + 10% commission on business margin

Type of contract : Full-time, permanent

Start date : As soon as possible
