Overview

Our customer is a fast-growing, globally leading automotive company. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Fleet Manager to lead and expand the fleet operations as part of an exciting new strategic partnership with a leading global automotive OEM. This role will focus on managing business-to-business fleet sales, optimizing fleet solutions, and ensuring outstanding service delivery to corporate clients across Italy.

Location Italy (can be remote / hybrid)

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective fleet management strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
  • Drive business fleet sales, fostering strong relationships with corporate clients and key accounts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, finance, and aftersales to design and deliver tailored fleet solutions.
  • Analyse fleet market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Oversee the complete vehicle lifecycle — from acquisition through operation to remarketing — ensuring cost optimization and efficiency.
  • Manage contracts, pricing negotiations, and ensure compliance with fleet regulations and company policies.
  • Provide senior leadership with regular reporting on fleet performance, sales metrics, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead, coach, and support a dedicated team to ensure service excellence and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Strong professional background in fleet management, business sales, or the automotive sector.
  • Proven track record in managing corporate accounts and delivering tailored fleet solutions.
  • Solid understanding of fleet financing, lifecycle management, and applicable regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills; fluency in Italian and English required.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with CRM and fleet management tools / software.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to manage teams and projects in fast-paced environments.
  • Flexibility to travel across Italy and internationally as needed.
