A leading company in enterprise solutions seeks a Business Finance Processes Principal Consultant in Italy to enhance client operations through SAP financial solutions. You will partner with clients, lead implementation projects, and require extensive financial expertise and consulting experience. This role offers a strong focus on teamwork and client satisfaction within a collaborative environment.

Competenze

• Minimum of 10 years SAP consulting experience with at least 7 years in Finance.
• Strong knowledge of Financial / Managerial accounting, Product Costing.
• Experience with S4 HANA Finance and financial systems architectures.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASK

The Business Processes Principal Consultant facilitates the implementation and support of the SAP Financial Solutions to enhance the clients’ business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction. In addition, the consultant will partner with the client to analyze and define business requirements, processes and objectives to scope the project and associated deliverables. The consultant will support implementation actively or together with an SAP partner to provide the outcomes of the project the customer expects; as well as :

• Be actively involved in the preparation, conceptualization, realization and Go Live of customer implementation projects
• Perform feasibility studies and process design reviews
• Act as a team lead / Business Processes Senior Consultant and support respective manager(s) in people development tasks
• Develop detailed plan of process implementation
• Lead industry / corporate process implementation across all related applications (SAP / non-SAP)
• Assist in the development of the overall project plan (scoping process) as well as individual work plans; acting as liaison with client for troubleshooting (investigates, analyses, and solves software problems)
• Analyze and map clients’ business requirements, processes and objectives; develop necessary strategies to satisfy clients’ needs.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert to address specific customer pain points and issues
• Perform Quality assurance and Advisory Services in the area of expertise
• Support the internal Finance Consulting Practice with pre-sales support, spot consulting and internal projects and commit to the success of customers, partners, colleagues, and SA

Position Requirement

In addition to a Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline, and a minimum of seven years’ progressive experience, the successful candidate will possess :

• A minimum of 10 years SAP consulting experience with a proven record of at least 7 years in Finance
• Strong knowledge of Financial / Managerial accounting, Product Costing and CO related implementation such as best practices
• Experience in setting up Financial systems architectures : on premise as well as cloud
• Expertise in the configuration and implementation of Financial SAP Solutions
• Overall knowledge of SAP Finance solutions
• Expertise in the integration of Finance with other SAP solutions
• Experience with S4 HANA Finance
• Plus items would include any two of the following :
• product costing planning / cost object controlling
• material ledger for actual costing and multiple valuations
• margin analysis
• project system
• SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning
• asset accounting
• treasury
• financial supply chain
• finance analytics
• group reporting
• Experience with structured methodologies for Implementation. Ideally Rise with SAP Methodology.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact at all levels within client company
• Strong leadership skills
• A curious and innovative mindset
• Language skills : Italian and English (required) , French, Spanish or German would be a nice plu
