We are seeking a Business Development professional in Transport to drive client value, industry solutions, and thought leadership for products and services that support business growth within MELA.

The ideal candidate will possess deep industry insights, strong relationships, and a comprehensive understanding of the ecosystem and key industry players.

What you will do
  • Position Ericsson as a thought and technology leader, expanding our business and strengthening customer relationships in Transport, focusing on Microwave and IP & Fronthaul.
  • Influence customer strategies and visions, supporting the development of their requirements.
  • Engage with non-CSP customers such as MCN and enterprise sectors, supporting new CSPs and shaping industry trends and standards.
  • Lead industry business initiatives, providing expertise for new solutions and opportunities.
  • Support sales teams in MELA by developing needs and opportunities, acting as an industry expert.
  • Create viable and competitive business and commercial models with Commercial Management.
  • Define technical and partnership requirements for industry-specific products in collaboration with Portfolio Management.
  • Develop industry offerings, strategies, and roadmaps for MELA.
  • Qualify solutions and opportunities based on industry business and commercial models.
  • Establish functional industry requirements for portfolio development.
  • Recommend and drive techno-commercial value arguments.
  • Collaborate across product lines and with other Business Areas.
  • Maintain and develop expertise and knowledge sharing in MELA.
  • Share best practices and methodologies within MELA.
  • Articulate a clear "Transport Evolution" vision to customers through excellent presentation skills.
