Business Development Manager with Italian

About Leverage Shares

Leverage Shares is a fast-growing Exchange Traded Products (ETP) provider, focused on delivering innovative financial products. Our first range of single stock ETPs was listed on London Stock Exchange in December 2017. We have since expanded our footprint, listing new products across multiple exchanges, including the London Stock Exchange, Euronext and XETRA.

Overview

We are looking for a Business Development Manager (Italian-speaking) to drive growth in the Italian market. This role involves leading business initiatives, supporting the sales team, managing partnerships, and representing the company at industry events. The ideal candidate will help grow our local presence.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead local business development initiatives.
  • Respond to sales requests and support the sales / BD team in meetings and other tasks to help drive AUM growth.
  • Maintain and evolve ETP collateral (sales presentations, social media, etc.).
  • Liaise with brokers for product onboarding and partnership opportunities, while also maintaining clear communication channels and fostering strong relationships for mutually beneficial collaborations.
  • Attend industry events as the local representative of the company.
  • Assist with brainstorming and strategy building for ETP distribution across Italian-speaking markets.
  • Contribute to business cases for new ETP launches.

Requirements :

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate market views and product characteristics to sophisticated investors.
  • An understanding of the ETP / ETF industry would be considered an advantage.
  • Passion for financial markets and business development.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit that can thrive in an autonomous work environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in a sales / business development role in a financial / investment management firm.
  • Demonstrates a proactive “Get It Done” approach to work, consistently seeking solutions and efficiently tackling tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Language requirements – fluent in Italian and English.
  • University degree or CFA preferred.
