The Role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager based in Torino.

This is a rare opportunity to become a founding and key member of a growing, well-funded startup. You'll collaborate with Italy's most premium and regarded restaurants.

As part of the regional sales team, you will report to the Sales Lead and focus on developing new relationships with restaurants.

More specifically, you will :

• Map, prospect, pitch, and close new restaurants across your region in an organized manner. Be a city-level expert, knowing the up-and-coming restaurants and those most in demand by customers.
• Support partners in joining Deliveroo, providing the best experience to them.
• Communicate (via visits, email, calls, or social media) with restaurants to demonstrate Deliveroo technology.
• Help restaurant owners / managers overcome barriers or hesitations.
• Attend restaurant and food meet-ups.

Requirements

• You must be comfortable targeting new business and have sales experience.
• Confidence or experience dealing with partners / customers face-to-face, by phone, or email.
• Experience demonstrating products and industry knowledge to clients.
• Comfort with negotiations.
• Knowledge of the restaurant industry is a significant plus.
• You need to be tenacious.
