Key Responsibilities:
In coordination with the local and international Sales, Business Development, and Marketing organizations, key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Forming close relationships with end users, consultants, and specifiers in the Video Security Channel to promote the Hanwha brand and increase sales and demand for Hanwha security products.
- Achieving set objectives related to sales and product quantity mix through strategic analysis of market opportunities and influencing decision-makers to ensure sales growth.
- Engaging in strategic planning, including short and medium-term sales planning, market analysis, and liaising with the Hanwha Product Management team to optimize product positioning.
- Managing and developing a network of partners (integrators and installers) as part of the Hanwha channel partner program (STEP Programme), with responsibility for sales revenue generated through these partners.
- Supporting Strategic Sales Managers in identifying opportunities within assigned regions and vertical markets.
- Engaging in end-user consultations, liaising with system integrators, updating customers with product information, increasing project pipeline and revenue, and creating new customer projects.
- Reporting weekly on sales and project progress, conducting customer audits, and contributing ideas for marketing plans and new product launches.
- Focusing on product/channel/customer margin, forecasting accuracy, and achieving budgets and targets.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in a business development or sales role with successful achievement of sales targets in demanding environments.
- Extensive experience with CCTV and related technologies, especially presenting solutions to end users and consultants/specifiers.
- Ability to understand customer needs, define solutions, and create professional proposals independently.
- Market knowledge within electronic security, IT, and Networking channels.
- Experience working for a CCTV manufacturer is beneficial but not essential.
- Understanding of new technologies, particularly network video systems and topologies.
- Business or technical degree is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to develop strong relationships internally and externally.
- Independent thinking, good judgment, motivation, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Solution-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, including presentation abilities at executive levels.
- Fluency in English and at least one European language.
- Valid driving license.
Location:
This is a field-based role; ideally, the candidate will reside in the Milan area or South Italy. Extensive travel within Italy and occasionally outside Italy is expected.
