Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Form close relationships with end users, consultants and specifiers in the Video Security Channel to promote the Hanwha brand, and to increase sales and demand for Hanwha security products.
  • Achieve set objectives relating to all relevant sales and product quantity mix through market opportunity analysis and influencing decision makers.
  • Conduct short and medium term sales planning and liaise with the Hanwha Product Management team to share market information.
  • Manage and develop a network of partners (integrators and installers) as part of the Hanwha channel partner programme (STEP Programme), with responsibility for sales revenue generated through assigned Partners.
  • Support Strategic Sales Managers for opportunities identified in the assigned region within defined Strategic Vertical Markets.
  • Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
    • End user consultations
    • Consultants and specifiers
    • Liaising with major System integrators at senior level
    • Keeping the customer base updated with product information
    • Increasing project pipeline and revenue with existing active customers
    • Creating a project pipeline with new customers
    • Reporting weekly on sales and project progress
    • Conducting existing customer audit analysis
    • Product and market segmentation, positioning and targeting
    • Contributing ideas towards marketing plans for new product launches and customer events
    • Focusing on product/channel/customer margin
    • Ensuring accuracy of forecasting
    • Achieving all budgets and targets

Requirements:

  • A proven track record in a business development or sales role, achieving sales in a demanding environment.
  • Extensive experience of CCTV and associated technologies, or similar market segment, particularly in presenting relevant solutions to end users and consultants/specifiers.
  • Capability to work independently in understanding customer needs, defining solutions, and creating professional commercial proposals.
  • Knowledge of the market, main channels, and potential customers within the electronic security market, IT & Networking.
  • Previous experience working for a CCTV manufacturer would be beneficial, but not essential.
  • Good understanding of new technologies, especially network video systems and their topology.
  • Business or Technical Degree Level Education would be advantageous.
  • PC Literate - Intermediate & Advanced ‘Microsoft Office’ skills to include Excel.
  • A desire to make a positive impact on the market and brand recognition.
  • Ability to develop strong and lasting relationships with both internal company Directors/colleagues and key clients.
  • Ability to demonstrate independent thinking and good clear judgement.
  • Ability to motivate teams to achieve targets.
  • A team player – demonstrating success in team situations.
  • Logical and well-organised with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Displays a pro-active approach and is a ‘solution finder’.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative.
  • Project Management, Product Planning, and strong communication skills required with the ability to present at board level to Blue Chip companies.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • English language essential plus at least one local European language.
  • Clean Driving License.

Location:

This is a field-based role, ideally for candidates living in the Milan area or in the South region. This role will involve extensive travel within Italy, specifically in the assigned area in South Italy, and travel outside of Italy may be required from time to time.
