Business Development Manager | Remote, Italy

Edison Smart is partnered with a leading company that provides carrier-grade connectivity solutions for utilities, property management, and enterprise IoT. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth and strategic partnerships in the IoT and Smart Water / Smart Utility sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and execute growth plans in line with evolving IoT and Smart Utility market trends.
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders across municipalities, utilities, and private sector clients within the Smart Water and IoT space.
  • Partner with internal teams to tailor IoT smart water solutions to specific client needs.
  • Convert technical offerings into clear, persuasive value propositions for a range of customer segments.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline by sourcing and connecting with new business opportunities.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related fields.
  • 8-10 years of business development experience.
  • 5 years in the IoT and/or Smart Water / Smart Utility sector.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools.

Please note you must be located in Italy.
