Business Development Manager | Remote, Italy

Edison Smart is partnered with a leading company that provides carrier-grade connectivity solutions for utilities, property management, and enterprise IoT. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth and strategic partnerships in the IoT and Smart Water / Smart Utility sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Drive and execute growth plans in line with evolving IoT and Smart Utility market trends.
  2. Identify and engage key stakeholders across municipalities, utilities, and private sector clients within the Smart Water and IoT space.
  3. Partner with internal teams to tailor IoT smart water solutions to specific client needs.
  4. Convert technical offerings into clear, persuasive value propositions for a range of customer segments.
  5. Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline by sourcing and connecting with new business opportunities.
Your Background:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related fields.
  • 8-10 years of business development experience.
  • At least 5 years in the IoT and/or Smart Water / Smart Utility sector.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools.
