To accelerate growth across Europe, the team is now seeking a Business Development Manager to drive market expansion and forge strategic partnerships in the region.
The role involves:
- Identifying and pursuing new leads, analyzing markets, and implementing strategies to expand the customer base and drive revenue growth.
- Managing the full sales pipeline via CRM and closing deals.
- Building strong client relationships, understanding their needs, and securing long-term contracts.
- Ensuring smooth delivery by collaborating with internal teams.
- Developing business development plans aligned with company goals.
- Monitoring market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities and risks.
- Working closely with marketing, procurement, and operations to ensure alignment and effective onboarding of new clients.
- Providing regular sales reports and forecasts.
- Tracking industry trends and competitor activity, maintaining accurate CRM records.
Minimum requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in business development or sales within the plastics or recycling industry.
- Strong knowledge of PET plastics, including material properties, applications, and industry standards.
- A proven track record of generating new business, achieving sales targets, and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinking and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and proactive in identifying opportunities.
- Ability to thrive in a remote, entrepreneurial, and mission-driven environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed (approximately once a month).
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
