Descrizione del lavoro

A pioneer in plastic recycling, the organization specializes in supplying high-quality recycled plastic materials such as rPET, rPE, and rPP. With a strong global footprint and deep industry expertise, it supports sustainable manufacturing by providing reliable, eco-friendly raw materials to partners across multiple countries. To accelerate growth across Europe, the team is now seeking a Business Development Manager to drive market expansion and forge strategic partnerships in the region.

The role involves:

  1. Identifying and pursuing new leads, analyzing markets, and implementing strategies to expand the customer base and drive revenue growth.
  2. Managing the full sales pipeline via CRM and closing deals.
  3. Building strong client relationships, understanding their needs, and securing long-term contracts.
  4. Ensuring smooth delivery by collaborating with internal teams.
  5. Developing business development plans aligned with company goals.
  6. Monitoring market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities and risks.
  7. Working closely with marketing, procurement, and operations to ensure alignment and effective onboarding of new clients.
  8. Providing regular sales reports and forecasts.
  9. Tracking industry trends and competitor activity, and maintaining accurate CRM records.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • At least 3 years of experience in business development or sales within the plastics or recycling industry.
  • Strong knowledge of PET plastics, including material properties, applications, and industry standards.
  • A proven track record of generating new business, achieving sales targets, and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strategic thinking and a team-oriented mindset, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
