Business Development Representative – Milan (Remote) – EV Charging / SaaS – Up to €72K + 25% Bonus

Location : Remote (Milan or surrounding areas)

Industry : EV Charging | SaaS | Clean Tech

Salary : Up to €72,000 base + 25% performance bonus

Contract : 12-month initial contract

The Opportunity

We are supporting a fast-growing European cleantech company that develops smart energy and EV charging software solutions. With operations across more than 20 countries and millions of users, they are now expanding into the Italian market.

To support this growth, they are hiring a Business Development Representative to help establish and grow commercial activity in Italy. This is the first commercial hire in the region, offering strong ownership and impact.

The Role

You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities in the Italian EV charging ecosystem. Target customers include Charge Point Operators (CPOs), Mobility Service Providers (MSPs), and other strategic partners. This is a hands-on role covering everything from lead generation to deal closure.

The position is fully remote and requires someone confident operating independently while staying closely connected to the broader European team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Qualify and convert inbound and self-generated leads
  • Represent the company at industry events and through digital outreach
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor proposals and close deals
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM (Salesforce)
  • Share customer insights to support product and service improvement

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management
  • Experience in SaaS, EV, tech, or energy sectors preferred
  • Native or fluent Italian speaker with strong English communication
  • Self-starter who can operate in a fast-moving, remote-first environment
  • Commercial mindset with a strong focus on building long-term relationships
