Are you interested in further expanding our lighting business as a Business Development Manager? We are looking for a driven, experienced, and dedicated Business Development Manager with a desire to succeed!

Who are you?

Job Context: Member of the local Opple Europe team. Direct report to the Country Manager Italy. Works closely with the agencies in the region.

Your profile :
  • Essential Skills: Lighting knowledge, technical and commercial skills, well-balanced tactical and operational skills, customer focus, practical mentality, clear communication, persuasive sales skills, Salesforce experience (nice to have), basic Microsoft Office skills, fluency in English and Italian.
  • Personal Attributes: Result-oriented, determined, analytical, engaging, hunter-minded, energetic, self-starter, high energy, enthusiastic, and able to execute.
Your responsibilities :
  1. Implement the commercial policy for the professional lighting channel.
  2. Build coverage in the assigned region, supporting agency work.
  3. Develop business cases with the Country Manager and Sales Head for expansion.
  4. Identify and develop new customers (installers, contracts, end users).
  5. Develop projects and track progress in Salesforce.
  6. Serve as the Italy reference for trainings and BLE system presentations.
  7. Gather market information and communicate with marketing.
  8. Achieve targets and manage internal relationships.
