Your Role

As Megaport expands in Southern Europe, especially Italy, we seek driven individuals to help grow our presence. In this role, you’ll become an expert in SDN, cloud interconnection, and SD-WAN, influencing how Italian enterprises connect to digital infrastructure.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, Southern Europe, you will grow business relationships in Italy by promoting Megaport’s value. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role suited for someone eager to influence outcomes and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
  1. Identify and close new business opportunities through prospecting
  2. Manage enterprise engagement programs using sales and marketing resources
  3. Research customer drivers, priorities, and stakeholders to inform strategies
  4. Collaborate on go-to-market plans with sales and marketing teams
  5. Support sales and pre-sales engagements, ensuring value delivery
  6. Contribute to solution design during pre-sales, aligning with customer needs
  7. Onboard and scale high-potential channel partners in Italy
  8. Build trust-based relationships with partners and engage in technical discussions
  9. Maintain knowledge of Megaport’s solutions and discuss technical details confidently
What We Are Looking For
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, with strong prospecting and closing skills
  • Knowledge of the Italian IT ecosystem and industry trends
  • Experience in direct and channel sales, especially in network infrastructure
  • Ability to navigate complex sales with multiple stakeholders
  • Established Italian partner network and ability to engage at executive level
  • Ability to explain technical networking concepts
  • Strong consultative sales skills with a track record of meeting revenue goals
  • Proficiency in sales forecasting and pipeline management
  • Entrepreneurial, adaptable, quick learner, comfortable in fast-paced settings
  • Willing to travel up to 40%, remote work flexibility
  • Native Italian speaker with professional English proficiency
