Organisation Description: Jaipur Rugs is a social enterprise connecting rural craftsmanship with global markets through luxurious handmade carpets. It is a family-run business offering an exclusive range of hand-knotted and hand-woven rugs made using 2500-year-old traditional art forms.

The founder, Mr. Nand Kishore Chaudhary, created a unique business model providing livelihoods to artisans at their doorstep, avoiding intermediaries. The company has over 40,000 artisans across 600 rural villages in five Indian states and exports to more than 45 countries, with the US sales arm, Jaipur Living, Inc., based in Georgia, Atlanta.

Job Description: The responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Onboarding new Key Accounts of trade agents, interior designers, and architects through meetings and field visits.
  • Generating sales leads from existing Key Accounts via follow-up.
  • Creating a strong sales pipeline by managing opportunities at various stages of the sales cycle.
  • Staying updated on market trends through competition mapping.

Professional Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of management/supervisory sales experience, proficient in Italian & English.
  • Experience selling products through architects & interior designers in projects.
  • Understanding of architectural and design projects and requirements from IDA.
  • Leadership experience in a luxury interior brand, especially furniture, lighting, or similar products.
  • Strong cognitive and mathematical skills, including problem analysis, decision-making, and financial analysis.
