Business Development Manager in Project Logistics

For our Italian office located in Trescore Balneario (Bergamo), we are looking for a Business Development Manager in Project Logistics.

Main responsibilities :

  • Active work looking for new Customers in the Italian focus market region majoring in selling Project Logistics services.
  • Establishment and maintenance of a plan of meetings with the Customers.
  • Attraction of new Customers, retention and development of Customers. Work with Sales Lists; on-time closing of the set objectives.
  • Conclusion and maintenance of contracts, negotiating payment terms; monitoring and updating of contracts and related agreements; registering all the necessary requirements and agreements in the electronic document management system.
  • Identification of regularity of Customer’s needs (regular, sporadic, seasonal, projective) and registering the information in the Customer’s portfolio.
  • Evaluation of Customer satisfaction and the work on nonconformity.
  • Usage of the CRM system to document client activity, create proposals, process orders, and forecast sales.

Skills / Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience in Project Logistics Sales;
  • Good knowledge of English;
  • Proven knowledge of the freight forwarding industry;
  • Deep knowledge of Project Logistics transportation;
  • Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills;
  • Proactive approach;
  • Ability to work both individually and in a team.
