Job Description:

AsstrA, a Swiss logistics company with over 30 years of experience and more than 1,500 employees across 24 countries, is seeking a Business Development Manager in Project Logistics for its Italian office in Trescore Balneario (Bergamo).

Main responsibilities:

  • Active search for new customers in the Italian market, focusing on selling Project Logistics services.
  • Establishing and maintaining a plan of meetings with clients.
  • Attracting, retaining, and developing customer relationships; working with sales lists; closing objectives on time.
  • Negotiating and maintaining contracts, monitoring agreements, and documenting in the electronic system.
  • Identifying customer needs (regular, sporadic, seasonal, projective) and recording this information.
  • Evaluating customer satisfaction and addressing nonconformities.
  • Using CRM systems to document activities, create proposals, process orders, and forecast sales.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Project Logistics sales.
  • Good command of English.
  • Proven knowledge of freight forwarding industry.
  • Deep understanding of Project Logistics transportation.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Proactive approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
