Position Overview:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) for House Repair Claims will drive growth and expansion of the company's house repair claims services. The role involves developing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and aligning offerings with market needs to meet business targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis & Strategy: Conduct research to identify opportunities, trends, and competitor activities; develop strategies to expand the client base.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with insurance companies, homeowners, contractors, and property managers.
- Business Development: Network, attend events, leverage online platforms, and present proposals to potential clients.
- Sales & Revenue: Manage sales pipeline, close deals, and negotiate contracts.
- Project Coordination: Work with operations to ensure timely service delivery and oversee repair claims from start to finish.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams and provide feedback for service improvement.
- Reporting & Analysis: Track performance, prepare reports, and update management on trends and pipeline.
The Profile
- At least 6 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in consulting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Goal-oriented and adaptable to fast-paced environments.
- Creative problem solver with high attention to detail.
- Eligible for UK Residents only.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Insurance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 6 years in business development, sales, or account management within insurance, construction, or house repair industries.
- Knowledge of home repair claims, insurance standards, and claims systems is a plus.
- Skills include negotiation, relationship-building, CRM proficiency, and market analysis.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in insurance claims management or house repair services.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
- Customer-first approach and problem-solving mindset.
