Responsibilities:
- Develop and Expand Business Opportunities: Identify and pursue growth opportunities in the global Market Access sector, including Pharma, MedTech, and Digital Health, to support the company’s strategic objectives.
- Drive Business Growth: Lead strategic business development initiatives to fuel growth, focusing on new markets and client segments aligned with healthcare technology trends.
- Plan and Execute Commercial Strategies: Collaborate on creating and implementing promotional and commercial activities to increase visibility and market reach.
- Source New Clients in Target Markets: Proactively identify and engage new clients, especially in the US and Asia, to build a sustainable client base.
- Build and Sustain Strategic Relationships: Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders in the life sciences industry, aiming for tangible business outcomes.
- Lead Proposal Development: Work with Market Access teams to craft compelling, needs-based proposals to secure new projects.
- Gather and Share Customer Insights: Collect client feedback and share insights to influence product innovation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various departments to ensure cohesive teamwork and successful project delivery.
- Support and Report to Head of Market Access: Contribute to strategy development and provide updates on business activities.
- Represent the Company Externally: Act as an ambassador at industry events, conferences, and within professional networks.
Required Experience:
- Deep understanding of healthcare technologies, especially in Market Access, Patient Access, and product launches.
- Experience in strategic relationship management within the life sciences sector.
- Proficiency in sales, from prospecting to contract management, with cross-selling experience.
- Knowledge of Market Access factors, including European and JAPAC HTA processes.
- Ability to engage and influence senior/executive clients effectively.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Health Economics, Business, or related fields.
- At least 7 years of experience in business development, commercialization, or innovation management in pharma, digital health, biotech, or MedTech sectors.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulatory and market access requirements.
- Ability to translate client needs into actionable deliverables.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Ability to work across multiple time zones and cultural contexts.
- Independent, motivated, and proactive mindset.
- Team-oriented with a positive work attitude.
