Job Description:

Leveraging strong support from China Mobile, CMI provides comprehensive international telecom services and solutions to enterprises, carriers, and mobile users globally.

China Mobile Italy is recruiting a Business Development Manager (M/F) responsible for prospecting and developing business in the enterprise market.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Prospect, identify, and develop new business opportunities, establishing a portfolio of enterprise clients.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with new customers and explore potential markets.
  3. Develop and implement sales strategies to attract new clients and increase market share.
  4. Coordinate with technical teams to address customer needs and issues.
  5. Promote China Mobile’s products and solutions through workshops, trade shows, and campaigns.
  6. Manage tenders and bids, coordinating internal resources to prepare competitive offers.
  7. Develop commercial proposals involving technical, financial, and legal teams.
  8. Present business proposals, outlining customer requests and project goals.
  9. Negotiate contracts to secure projects.
  10. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure solutions meet client requirements.
  11. Establish sales and support agreements for new clients.
  12. Follow up on customer accounts and ensure commitments are met.
  13. Organize project kick-offs and coordinate service delivery with project managers.
  14. Work with HQ and regional teams to meet sales targets and business objectives.
  15. Maintain ongoing relationships with clients, monitoring opportunities and generating new needs.
  16. Provide excellent customer service and after-sales support, evaluating service performance and improving processes.
  17. Develop account plans for each client for accurate tracking.
  18. Handle daily operational and commercial activities.
Profile and Experience:
  • Hunter profile with knowledge of telecommunications operators’ offerings is essential.
  • Experience in selling telecom services to businesses is a plus.
  • Understanding of the challenges faced by international operators is necessary.
  • Proficiency with sales tools such as Salesforce and reporting systems.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Excellent communication skills in Italian and English; fluency in additional languages is a plus.
