My client is a fast-growing Global FinTech company offering a variety of products like FX risk management, trade finance, currency accounts, international payments, and API integration.

As the company continues to expand, it is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive the growth of its embedded API solutions across its European offices.

Are you ready to excel in a role where your sales expertise will be the cornerstone of your success? As a Business Development Manager for our FX-focused embedded finance and API solutions, you'll develop effective sales strategies and techniques based on client feedback and your insights into the rapidly evolving fintech landscape. Joining our newly formed team means you'll benefit from a robust business model and comprehensive support infrastructure.

The Role:

  • Act as the primary revenue generator, driving growth through new client acquisition specifically for our embedded finance and API offerings with a strong emphasis on FX solutions.
  • Pitch and close deals with prospective clients, demonstrating how our FX solutions can seamlessly integrate into their existing platforms to enhance their service offerings and facilitate cross-border transactions.
  • Opportunity to sell across Europe and work with our European offices.
  • Manage the customer relationship for new clients to ensure a smooth onboarding process and successful implementation of our solutions.
  • Provide accurate forecasting of expected sales performance, focusing on the uptake of embedded finance solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to company-wide sales methodologies and established sales administration processes tailored for the fintech landscape.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Have a strong sales background in fintech, ideally in FX, Payments or selling an embedded finance solution.
  • 5+ years experience in New Business Development into the Corporate and Enterprise sector.
  • Possess a strong understanding of the FX or Payments ecosystem and the associated sales processes.
  • Have exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas simply and effectively.
  • Are a skilled negotiator, capable of building and leveraging relationships at senior levels, particularly in technology-driven environments.
