For our TOPCON Positioning Solutions BU - Italy, we are looking for a
Business Development Manager Building Construction
Job Purpose

To promote and expand Topcon’s Building Construction solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain business within a specific region by identifying and managing relevant distribution channels.
  • Act as a commercial expert in our Building Construction solutions.
  • Identify new and manage existing distributors for our Building Construction solutions.
  • Promote our solutions through publicity, visibility activities, and strategic marketing in collaboration with the Marketing Team.
  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan for Building Construction solutions within a designated country/region.
  • Work proactively with Product Management to ensure solutions meet customer expectations and market potential.
  • Coordinate with Operations to optimize logistics, ordering, and delivery processes.
Education & Experience
  • Fluent in English (preferred).
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel (50% or more of the time).
  • Experience in finding and managing distribution partners, with practical experience in construction projects, especially related to software and data workflows.
  • Familiarity with modern construction practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence and persuasiveness in dealings with business partners.
  • Experience in sales and marketing activities.
Working Conditions
  • Remote work environment, requiring motivation and independence.
  • Flexible travel schedule, approximately 50% travel.
  • Incentive bonus based on sales targets.
