Business Development Manager Building Construction
Job Purpose
To promote and expand Topcon’s Building Construction solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain business within a specific region by identifying and managing relevant distribution channels.
- Act as a commercial expert in our Building Construction solutions.
- Identify new and manage existing distributors for our Building Construction solutions.
- Promote our solutions through publicity, visibility activities, and strategic marketing in collaboration with the Marketing Team.
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan for Building Construction solutions within a designated country/region.
- Work proactively with Product Management to ensure solutions meet customer expectations and market potential.
- Coordinate with Operations to optimize logistics, ordering, and delivery processes.
Education & Experience
- Fluent in English (preferred).
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel (50% or more of the time).
- Experience in finding and managing distribution partners, with practical experience in construction projects, especially related to software and data workflows.
- Familiarity with modern construction practices.
- Excellent communication skills, with confidence and persuasiveness in dealings with business partners.
- Experience in sales and marketing activities.
Working Conditions

- Flexible travel schedule, approximately 50% travel.
- Incentive bonus based on sales targets.
