As the Business Development Manager, you'll identify new business opportunities to generate revenue, improve profitability, and support business growth.

You will also oversee the operations of all office staff supporting customer service, facility management, HR, health & safety, information systems, and quality procedures, coordinating with Operations, HR, IT, and other departments.

Business Development Manager : About the Role Business Development

  • Manage, coach, and lead the Business Development Team.
  • Develop and strengthen existing customer relationships and create new ones to expand market reach.
  • Build strong relationships with key accounts by demonstrating excellent service, support, and technical competence.
  • Provide market, customer, and competitor insights to the senior leadership team and develop strategies for profitable growth aligned with company goals.
  • Monitor KPIs regularly to ensure targets are met.
  • Sell and advise on all AVASK services.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations; produce marketing materials with external partners.
  • Attend networking events, seminars, and conferences, both virtually and in person.
  • Think strategically to set aims and objectives for business development.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities across the business.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and communicate relevant insights to the team.
  • Maintain personal knowledge and skills for continuous development.

Operations

  • Ensure the company has adequate resources to operate effectively.
  • Support staff and liaise with HR as needed.
  • Maintain relationships with partners, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations.
  • Oversee the maintenance and security of premises.
  • Manage procurement within budget targets.
  • Monitor client satisfaction, investigate complaints, and respond appropriately.
  • Assist with internal audits of systems and processes.
