They are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager with a Master’s Degree and significant B2B experience to drive sales and strategy in the European market from Italy or Spain, focusing on client relations and market trends.

Directly reporting to the Deputy Sales Director, you are identified as a sales hunter.

Key responsibilities

Identify, capture and manage new accounts in the European marketProvide greater product recommendations to customer thanks to your Product and Services knowledgeTo develop and define in coordination with the Global Sales Director a sales strategy the annual sales plan for your regionTo manage distributors and motivate them to visit customersTo execute the existing sales growth planTo actively contribute to the identification of market trends, surveillance of competition, detect sales and development opportunities, store-checks, etc., to achieve an unbeatable positioning of our products in the market.To support the Sales and Marketing teams at exhibitions and eventsTo know the sales figures, forecasts, potential sales projects, competitors….To follow up existing business and prospecting to generate new businesses and reach your sales objectives.To know how to make the customer the focus of your presentation when visiting them.To direct and co-operate with the Global Account Manager visits when visiting Global Accounts in the area

About you

You hold a Master’s Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Nutrition, or Biology, and have at least 5 years of professional experience in a B2B environment, working with manufacturers, distributors, and CMOs. Experience in the nutraceutical industry and botanical ingredients is a plus, as is a background in international commercial development.

You are a proactive hunter, eager to travel regularly. You have a proven track record managing long sales cycles for scientifically validated products with therapeutic benefits.

You’re known for being autonomous, analytical, and flexible, with a pragmatic mindset. Colleagues describe you as rigorous, resilient under pressure, and an excellent communicator.

You are a native Italian speaker and fluent in English, essential for the international scope of the role.
