Job Description:

An IT consulting company, specialized in boosting software delivery, is currently seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager for their Nicosia-based team. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop a growth strategy that reflects both market trends and company goals
  • Identify and map business strengths and customer needs
  • Seek out key customers and form robust relationships with them
  • Identify and propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners, discovering, and exploring opportunities
  • Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials
  • Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying the integration of new ventures with company strategies and operations
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations
  • Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
Candidate Profile:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, management, customer service, finance, administration, or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software & sales intelligence platforms
  • Knowledge and understanding of the cloud, DevOps, and software delivery
  • Excellent leadership, communication, decision-making, and organizational skills
  • Data-driven decision mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking
  • Comfortable with a culture of quickly testing and iterating strategies
  • Superior negotiation skills and understanding of contract/legal terms
  • Able to travel as needed
