The role involves performing network analysis, designing solutions to respond to client requirements, and working closely with sales teams and the Country head to support technical aspects and participate in offer presentations.
- Job requirements
- Define the pipeline of potential customers
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and capability reporting
- Assess the feasibility of pursuing new business opportunities with specific potential clients
- Support initiatives from the Head Quarter and Regional Head Quarter, and implement business expansion strategies for Italy
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with clients and understanding their needs
- Provide technical design support for logistics solutions, including data gathering, process design, layout design, costing, and sensitivity analysis
- Use optimization modeling and process redesign to derive optimal logistics solutions, resource levels, and costs
- Assist in creating solution documents and comprehensive presentations, and support their delivery to potential customers
- Develop a strong understanding of financial models
- Collaborate with other functions and departments to formulate and validate solutions
- Ensure smooth handover to Operations at the start of project implementation for stability
Profile

- Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or similar
- Experience
- Relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, consulting, or manufacturing, with prior roles as Operations & Solutions Designer
- Specialist Knowledge & Skills
- Warehousing, transportation, supply chain design, industrial engineering, manufacturing
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Successful negotiation skills, with a commercial mindset and target-oriented approach
Interpersonal & Communication Skills
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, with strong engagement and presentation skills
- Positive attitude, cultural awareness, and openness to cultural differences
- Autonomous yet team-oriented with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Having a proven network of potential customers in the Italian market across various industries is a strong plus
