PIPECARE EUROPE [part of PIPECARE Group] is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (or aspiring) to join our team in Europe, specializing in the oil and gas industry.

Position summary: The selected candidate will work to grow PIPECARE's customer base and introduce new clients to our in-line inspection services.

The role involves defining strategic goals, building key customer relationships with a partnering approach, identifying new business opportunities, guiding customers through contracting, and maintaining market knowledge.

The ideal candidate will lead and execute sales strategies to drive revenue, establish key client relationships, and contribute to organizational success. Applications are accepted in English only.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  1. Sales Planning and Execution: Develop and implement sales plans, forecast, budget, and monitor performance. Collaborate with marketing and operations for seamless sales initiatives.
  2. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate relationships, understand client needs, ensure satisfaction, and act as primary contact for key accounts.
  3. Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify opportunities and risks. Use data to refine sales strategies.
  4. Negotiation and Contract Management: Assist in negotiations ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and learn contract management processes for compliance and risk mitigation.
  5. Team Collaboration: Work with internal teams, especially technical and operations, to align sales efforts with delivery capabilities.

Required Qualifications and Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical, business, or related fields.
  • Over 5 years of relevant technical or sales experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Deep knowledge of pipelines or inspection services and market dynamics.
  • Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Residence in Europe, preferably France, with ability to communicate in English and French; additional languages are a plus.

Physical and Mental Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, walk, climb, communicate effectively, multitask, wear safety equipment, and travel when necessary.
