Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Director to join our Business Development team. You will be responsible for driving growth, expanding our clientele by identifying new opportunities, building relationships, and closing deals.

The Role You Will Play :

  1. Strategic Vision : Drive Retex’s growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities, positioning Retex as a key partner in marketing and communication.
  2. Industry Expertise : Analyze industries, create research and audits, and ensure Retex stays ahead of trends to deliver tailored solutions.
  3. Client-Centric Approach : Promote our offerings by addressing client objectives, developing value propositions, and building rapport through a consultative approach.
  4. Sales Excellence : Develop sales strategies, identify up-selling and cross-selling opportunities, and negotiate deals from plan to close.
  5. Project Management : Oversee marketing and communication projects, ensuring quality and satisfaction from inception to completion.

Requirements

While not all are mandatory, ideal candidates will possess:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or related roles, preferably with a background in Marketing & Communications. Experience with clients in sectors like Consumer & Hard Goods, Health & Pharma, Telco & Utilities, Travel & Services is a plus.
  • Proven success in sales and client growth, with the ability to drive the sales process from planning to closing.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills, commercial awareness, and proficiency in Italian and English (at least B2 level).
  • Proactive, organized, and capable of building strong relationships internally and externally.
