Position

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Director to join our Business Development team. In this role, you will drive growth and expand Retex’s clientele by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and negotiating and closing deals.

The Role You Will Play :

  1. Strategic Vision: You will be the driving force behind Retex’s growth, identifying and securing new business opportunities from potential clients. Your insights will position Retex as a key partner in marketing and communication, fostering opportunities across our offerings.
  2. Industry Expertise: Analyze specific industries and attract relevant prospects. Create research, monitoring, and audits in coordination with relevant directors to ensure Retex stays ahead of industry trends and delivers tailored solutions.
  3. Client-Centric Approach: Promote our products and services by addressing or anticipating client objectives. Develop value propositions based on client needs using a consultative, systemic, and multidisciplinary approach. Building rapport and collaboration skills are essential.
  4. Sales Excellence: Develop sales strategies for prospects, identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling, and drive the sales process from planning to closing with strong negotiation skills.
  5. Project Management: Oversee marketing and communication projects, ensuring successful execution from start to finish, including participation in RFPs and maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Requirements

While you may not meet all criteria, we believe these characteristics will help you excel:

  1. Educational and Professional Background: At least 5 years of experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, or similar, preferably with a background in Marketing & Communications. Experience with clients in sectors like Consumer & Hard Goods, Health & Pharma, Telco & Utilities, Travel & Services is a plus.
  2. Technical Fluency: Proven success in sales and business development, with the ability to drive client growth and manage the sales process from planning to close.
  3. Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional negotiation abilities and commercial awareness. Proficiency in Italian and English (at least B2) to communicate effectively internally and externally.
  4. Initiative and Organization: Ability to build rapport, collaborate, and proactively pursue results in a dynamic environment.
