Business Development, Battery Energy Storage Solutions (BESS)

Location :

Remote home office with residence in Italy.

Responsibilities :
  1. Identify and develop new business opportunities within the energy storage utility application sector.
  2. Conduct research and analyze regional market insights, including product technology, application trends, and government policies.
  3. Build and strengthen relationships with key accounts, managing projects from lead to cash process.
  4. Formulate revenue plans for key European accounts and drive sales expansion, especially in utilities application sectors to meet KPIs.
  5. Understand customer requirements and craft tailored solutions.
  6. Record and manage business opportunities, contracts, and developmental status in the company CRM system.
  7. Build and manage strategic key account relationships with project utilities, investors, developers, IPPs, EPCs, and other stakeholders.
  8. Communicate effectively to establish trust and credibility with decision-makers.
  9. Manage all aspects of customer relationships, from acquisition to support.
  10. Create and uphold project specifications, ensuring timely and accurate submissions aligned with customer and business needs.
  11. Demonstrate organizational skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications :
  1. Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  2. Minimum of 5+ years of business development experience in the BESS industry, with successful customer or project development in energy storage utility applications in Europe, or related experience in photovoltaics, wind energy, or power electronics for the energy industry.
  3. Effective communication skills between external and internal teams, especially between Europe and China HQ.
  4. Willingness to travel at least 30% to visit clients.
