Business Development, Battery Energy Storage Solutions (BESS)

Location :

Remote home office with residency in Italy.

Responsibilities :
  1. Identify and develop new business opportunities within the energy storage utility application sector.
  2. Conduct regional market research and analysis, including product technology, application trends, and government policies.
  3. Build and strengthen relationships with key accounts, managing projects from lead to cash flow.
  4. Formulate revenue plans for key European accounts and drive sales expansion, especially in utilities application sectors, to meet KPIs.
  5. Understand customer requirements thoroughly and develop tailored solutions.
  6. Record and manage business opportunities, contracts, and project statuses in the CRM system.
  7. Build and manage strategic key account relationships with utilities, investors, developers, IPPs, EPCs, and other stakeholders.
  8. Demonstrate excellent communication skills to establish trust and credibility with decision-makers.
  9. Manage all aspects of customer relationships, including acquisition, relationship nurturing, contract negotiations, and support.
  10. Create and maintain project specifications, ensuring timely and accurate submissions aligned with customer and business needs.
Qualifications :
  1. Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  2. At least 5 years of business development experience in the BESS industry, with successful project or customer development in the European energy storage utility sector, or related fields such as photovoltaics, wind energy, or power electronics.
  3. Effective communication skills, especially between European regions and the company's headquarters in China.
  4. Ability to travel at least 30% to visit clients.
