It provides core technologies and system solutions in the fields of smart grid, energy storage, new energy vehicle charging, and operation and integrated energy services.

Job Title : Business Development, Battery Energy Storage Solutions (BESS)

Location : Remote home office, living in Italy.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the energy storage utility application sector.
  • Conduct research and analyze regional market insights including product technology, application trends, and government policies.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key accounts, managing projects from lead to cash process.
  • Formulate revenue plans for key European markets and drive sales expansion, especially in utilities application sectors, to meet KPIs.
  • Understand customer requirements deeply and craft tailored solutions.
  • Record and manage business opportunities, contracts, and developmental statuses in the company's CRM system.
  • Build and manage relationships with project utilities, investors, developers, IPPs, EPCs, and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate effective communication to establish trust and credibility with decision-makers.
  • Manage all aspects of customer relations, including acquisition, relationship nurturing, and contract discussions.
  • Create and uphold project specifications, ensuring timely and accurate submissions aligned with customer and business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of business development experience in the BESS industry, with successful project or customer development in energy storage utility applications in Europe or related fields like photovoltaics, wind energy, or power electronics.
  • Effective communication skills between external and internal teams, especially between Europe and China HQ.
  • Ability to travel at least 30% to visit clients.
