It provides core technologies and system solutions in the fields of smart grid, energy storage, new energy vehicle charging, operation, and integrated energy services.

Job Title : Business Development, Battery Energy Storage Solutions (BESS)

Location : Remote home office, based in Italy.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  1. Identify and develop new business opportunities within the energy storage utility application sector.
  2. Conduct research and analyze regional market insights, including product technology, application trends, and government policies. Build and strengthen relationships with key accounts, overseeing from project lead to cash process.

Revenue Growth in Key Markets :

  1. Formulate revenue plans for key European accounts, drive sales expansion in targeted geographies, especially within utilities application sectors to meet KPIs.
  2. Understand customer requirements deeply and craft tailored solutions.
  3. Record and manage business opportunities, contracts, and developmental status in the company CRM system.

Strategic Key Account Relationship Building and Management :

  1. Cultivate a network comprising project utilities, investors, developers, IPPs, EPCs, and other stakeholders.
  2. Demonstrate exceptional communication skills to earn trust and establish credibility with decision-makers.
  3. Manage all aspects of customer relationships, from acquisition and recommendations to relationship nurturing, contract discussions, and support.
  4. Use industry expertise and interpersonal skills to establish strong key account relationships.

Project Oversight :

  1. Create and uphold project specifications, ensuring timely and accurate submissions aligned with customer and business needs.
  2. Exhibit organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  1. Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  2. At least 5 years of business development experience in the BESS industry, with successful customer or project development in the energy storage utility application sector in Europe, or related fields like photovoltaics, wind energy, or power electronics.
  3. Effective communication skills between external and internal teams, especially between Europe and China headquarters.
  4. Able to travel at least 30% for client visits.
