A telecommunications application provider is seeking a Field Sales and Marketing Specialist to grow turnover in Italy. Responsibilities include adjusting offers, engaging communities, and conducting market analysis. Candidates should have at least 2 years of field sales experience, strong negotiation skills, proficiency in Excel, and fluency in English and French, with a third African language being a major plus. A driver's license is required.

Position based in Palermo or Catania (full remote)

Libon is an international application for calling loved ones, which is recharged like a prepaid SIM card.

It offers a range of top-ups at 5€, 10€ and 20€ to landlines and mobiles in +160 countries.

Libon’s best offers are based on rates negotiated with Orange and MTN in Africa and Globe and Smart in the Philippines, Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan…

These offers are now available in physical and digital form through resale networks: telephone shops, tobacconists, kiosks, convenience stores, etc.

Beyond the distribution of Libon offers, it seems necessary to better communicate, animate and federate the communities around the application.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The scope concerns the growth of Libon’s turnover in Italy through actions on the field. This includes adjusting offers and promotions for physical distribution, as well as communicating and engaging communities of sellers and buyers around the application.

In B2B, at points of sale that sell our Scratchcards / Epins.

In B2C, direct interaction with application users, associations, households, and influencers within foreign communities (Africans, Asians, Indians, Americans, etc.).

Market analysis :

  • Define prospecting areas, hot spots, and priorities to develop Libon’s sales volumes
  • Ensure a competitive and technological watch
  • Identify and prioritize distribution networks and geographical areas of deployment
  • Conduct hunting and commercial prospecting
  • Identify lead-generating contacts and study community customer needs
  • Test different distribution networks and customer promotion strategies
  • Implement the Trade marketing plan decided by management
  • Be creative and propose ideas to increase Libon’s visibility among points of sale and diasporas
  • Implement POS displays in partner points of sale to ensure product visibility
  • List points of sale offering Libon products

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • At least 2 years of experience in field sales, operational marketing, trade marketing, or community distribution; experience in Sicily is a plus
  • Strong negotiation skills and a passion for acquiring new customers
  • Good knowledge of diaspora communities and their consumption habits in the area
  • Proficiency in Excel and numerical analysis
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Voluntary, dynamic, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external networks
  • Fluent in English and French (intermediate level), and knowledge of a 3rd African language like Wolof is mandatory
  • Driver’s license is mandatory
