Job details

Job title: Business Developer - Freelancer

Location: Remote or Hybrid (Italy)

Type of contract: Freelance (with VAT number)

Language: Italian (native speaker required)

Duration: 12 months

Terms: 1.000€ fixed + variable bonus (capped at 5K / month)

Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new B2B sales opportunities within the travel and tourism sector, focusing on affiliation, corporate retreats and communities partnerships.
  • Generate and manage a pipeline of qualified leads through proactive prospecting, cold outreach, LinkedIn networking, events, and other channels.
  • Represent WeRoad in calls and meetings with potential business clients, communicating the value of our product offering clearly and persuasively.
  • Keep CRM tools updated and provide regular reporting on activity, KPIs, and opportunities.
  • Adapt quickly to feedback and iterate based on the evolution of business priorities.
What we’re looking for (Qualifications)
  • Strong background in the travel industry, with at least 2 years’ experience in B2B sales, partnerships, or outbound business development.
  • Proven track record in achieving and exceeding commercial targets.
  • Impeccable communication and negotiation skills in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
  • Results-oriented and self-starter attitude: you are hungry for growth and success.
  • Exceptional reliability, team spirit, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills: you're comfortable managing different projects and leads simultaneously.
  • High degree of flexibility and adaptability—you’re comfortable with change and uncertainty.
