About The Position

Business Data Analyst role is responsible for analyzing data from our digital agronomical and commercial tools and services to provide meaningful insights which enable effective, data-driven decision making for the markets within the business unit and the business unit overall.

This position will support the local teams to understand and interpret data from various market, commercial and digital marketing sources to generate insights that improve targeting, campaign impact, and revenue growth and is expected to be strategic advisor, integrating data from various sources and using it to inform and guide strategic decisions. The aim is to use data to drive digitalization as a powerful business enabler, turning information into action and making marketing smarter, faster, and more effective.

Business Data Analyst will be collaborating various departments within the organization, and should be the expert in the Business Unit on the application of data towards capturing and building business value for the markets within the Business Unit and the Region.

Responsibilities
  • Integrate and analyze data from multiple sources to provide actionable insights to management and commercial teams.
  • Clean, structure, and combine data to create comprehensive customer profiles and identify business opportunities.
  • Use data-driven analysis to support growth, market development, and sales and marketing strategies.
  • Oversee KPIs, reporting cycles, and recommend responsive actions to achieve targets.
  • Build dashboards and reports to track key business metrics and make data accessible to stakeholders.
  • Analyze CRM and digital data to segment customers and guide targeted campaigns.
  • Support marketing forecasts and predictive models.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.
  • Translate business needs into KPIs and measurement plans.
  • Present findings and recommendations to management and key stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement in marketing and sales processes through data insights.
Profile
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a data, sales, or marketing analyst.
  • Proficient in SQL; Python or R is a plus.
  • Skilled in Power BI, Looker Studio, or similar visualization tools.
  • Experience managing and analyzing CRM, digital campaign, and sales data.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills; able to explain data to non-technical users.
  • Experience working with marketing and commercial teams.
  • Commercial awareness and focus on business value.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and effective in complex organizations.
  • Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Italian and/or Spanish knowledge will be a plus.
