Business Controller/ Head of Finance – Cimatron & GibbsCAM (flexible location - Europe)

The role

Reporting to the President of Cimatron the Business Controller will contribute to the overall operational and financial goals for the Cimatron and GibbsCAM Business Units globally. Working in cooperation with the Cimatron & GibbsCAM global team to support in key projects, business analysis and strategy execution. This position will be accountable to direct, coordinate and execute all aspects of financial planning and analysis.

Key performance areas:

Business Performance: Period end Reports & analysis - Commentary on period performance, performing recurring analysis & present findings. Conduct product and customer profitability analysis in support of sales management goals and objectives. Ensure that operational goals are linked to overall business plans and assist management in monitoring performance. Support in contingency plans preparation and follow up, at the same time maintain cost efficiency during a market upturn.

Business Partner: Support sales team in design commercial conditions to key customers and channels. Participate in key decisions as a member of the management team. Maintain partnership relation with all members of the management team.

Perform analysis & monitoring - Continuously monitoring of business performance and provide proactive ad-hoc analysis of current issues.

Provide recommendations & drive decision making - Input financial and business perspective on all operational issues. Support key business decisions with fact-based analysis and simulation.

Reporting: Report and interpret financial and operational information in an accurate and timely manner through effective reporting systems and analytical methods. Oversee the issuance of timely financial information to Sandvik Group through the Group reporting systems and procedures.

Compliance: Identify, develop and implement appropriate and effective financial controls. Guide the planning and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and systems for all operations to ensure that Sandvik policies and financial guidelines are followed. Coordinate the provision of information to external/internal auditors.

Additional Responsibilities: Participate on teams for various company initiatives and actively seek cost reductions, and improvement of profit margins.

Your profile

Must possess a University degree in Business Finance or related field; MBA preferred. Three to five years of experience in a Senior Level financial managerial role.

The role can be Flexible based within Europe.
