We are hiring a Business & Data Analyst to join our project team in Munich. You will report directly to the project manager and support various projects with differing complexities. You will serve as the key business contact and act as an interface between business and IT. Your main tasks will include requirements gathering, process documentation, data analysis, and user acceptance testing.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

• Participate in cross-functional working group sessions to translate business requirements into system specifications;
• Assist with functional documentation of customer business requirements;
• Coordinate development activities and facilitate meetings and workshops;
• Analyze data sets to identify anomalies, issues, and resolve discrepancies;
• Conduct user acceptance testing and support investigations related to questions, issues, and defects;
• Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure client and project sponsor satisfaction;

WHAT WILL HELP YOU TO FULFILL YOUR ROLE

• A university degree in an IT or analytical field, e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Business, or related disciplines;
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience preferred;
• Experience in banking and knowledge of regulatory requirements for financial services is desirable;
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
• Knowledge of programming languages like Python, SAS, SQL, or similar;
• Ability to work effectively with management and as part of a team to meet targets;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
• Ability to moderate meetings, gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines;

Business proficiency in German and English is required; proficiency in Italian is a plus.
