We are hiring a Business & Data Analyst to join our project team in Munich. You will report directly to the project manager and support various projects with different levels of complexity. You will serve as the key contact between business and IT, with responsibilities including requirements gathering, process documentation, data analysis, and user acceptance testing.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

• Participate in cross-functional sessions to translate business requirements into system specifications;
• Assist with documenting customer business requirements;
• Coordinate development activities and facilitate meetings and workshops;
• Analyze data sets to identify anomalies and resolve discrepancies;
• Conduct user acceptance testing and support issue investigation;
• Manage stakeholder expectations and satisfaction;

WHAT WILL HELP YOU TO FULFILL YOUR ROLE

• A university degree in IT or an analytical field such as Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Business, or related areas;
• 2-5 years of relevant experience preferred;
• Experience in banking and knowledge of financial regulatory requirements is desirable;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
• Knowledge of programming languages like Python, SAS, SQL, or similar;
• Effective teamwork and management skills to meet targets;
• Excellent attention to detail;
• Strong communication skills in both written and verbal English and German; proficiency in Italian is a plus.
