About the job

We are looking for a Business Analytics Lead to join our Insights & Analytics team within the Go-to-Market Capabilities (GTMC) organization, based in Milan. This role will be pivotal in supporting commercial operations by delivering strategic forecasting, performance insights, and data-driven recommendations to guide decision-making across multiple business areas and product portfolios.

Main responsibilities:

• Act as a strategic partner to Commercial and Brand teams, providing insights and forecasts to support brand planning, new indication launches, and performance reviews
• Lead the development and implementation of brand analytics strategies including segmentation, KPI tracking, targeting, and sales force optimization
• Design and deliver long- and short-term forecasts for strategic planning and budget cycles in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Conduct and lead market research initiatives to inform brand strategy and identify market opportunities
• Apply advanced analytics and data science methods to develop predictive models and optimize marketing effectiveness
• Create clear, actionable dashboards and reports to enable strategic business decisions
• Coordinate with data management teams to ensure insights are based on high-quality, reliable data

About you

• Experience: Pharmaceutical or biotech forecasting, consulting experience, familiarity with IQVIA and other pharma data sources, understanding of payer and health insurance landscape
• Soft and technical skills: Analytical and forecasting skills, data science techniques (Bayesian stats, regression, A/B testing), segmentation and marketing mix analysis, CRM systems (Veeva, Salesforce), BI tools (Qlik Sense, Tableau), advanced
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree (MBA, MS, MD, PhD) preferred
• Languages: Proficiency in English
