Join GE Vernova as a Bushings Product Sales Specialist for the China & Asia Market.

Job Summary

GE Grid Solutions, part of GE Vernova, is seeking a Bushings Product Sales Specialist to join our Power Transmission Business Line (PT). The role involves representing our unique range of AC and HVDC Bushings for transformers, generators, and substation applications across China and Asia.

The successful candidate will be part of the Bushings Sales team, responsible for business development, technical prescriptions, coordination with tendering, product qualification, and customer satisfaction. They will develop and execute sales strategies in collaboration with the local sales team to meet quarterly and annual targets, reporting to the Bushings Global Sales Leader.

We seek a dynamic, sales-oriented professional with a technical background; experience in APAC sales is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Identify and pursue sales opportunities, define strategies, and shape demand within the region.
  2. Maintain awareness of competitor products and market trends.
  3. Engage with customers regularly alongside the Account Manager and sales team.
  4. Optimize sales channels and deploy strategic initiatives based on customer and internal feedback.
  5. Assess project complexity and develop tailored value propositions.
  6. Manage tendering processes, including technical and commercial offer development, negotiations, and contract closure.
  7. Coordinate risk assessments and ensure compliance with company policies.
  8. Present solutions and negotiate terms with customers.
Qualifications
  • Engineering degree (Electrical or Management preferred).
  • Technical knowledge of Bushings, substations, or transformer equipment is highly desirable.
  • Experience in sales, tendering, or commercial environments within multinational companies.
  • Knowledge of the electrical transmission sector in the APAC region is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Willingness to travel.
