Seeking a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor to join a leading international engineering firm in Italy. This is a permanent position with a robust project pipeline for the next 5+ years. The Role :

As a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor, you'll manage the commercial aspects of projects from tender to final accounts, ensuring maximum commercial benefit. This involves budgeting, BOQ development, reporting, and managing client and subcontractor accounts. You'll identify risks, collaborate on scheduling, and maintain meticulous records.

  • Manage project commercial aspects: budgeting, BOQs, profit plans.
  • Conduct interim commercial meetings; report project status.
  • Oversee subcontractor accounts, valuations, and payments.
  • Administer contracts, issue applications, and manage claims.
  • Identify and report commercial risks.
  • Collaborate with planning.
  • Maintain accurate records and backup.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of Quantity Surveying experience on Mechanical Projects.
  • 3rd level qualification in Construction Economics / Quantity Surveying (ideally with a technical background).
  • Experience on mechanical projects.
  • Experience with projects in data centres, pharmaceutical, industrial, or commercial sectors (value of 5M).
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial management, QS role, and contract conditions.

Process-driven with a focus on EHS and Quality.
