Jam in Italia, Milan, cerca un Senior BMS Engineer per guidare la delivery tecnica di un progetto data centre. Responsabile di submittals Tier 2, disegni di layout e documentazione O&M, con coordinamento di ingegneria e subappaltatori durante la costruzione.

La figura lavorerà in stretta relazione con il team di progetto per garantire che i sistemi BMS funzionino come previsto, con testing onsite, cambi di controllo e handover finale al cliente.

Competenze

• Esperienza come BMS engineer senior in data centres o infrastrutture critiche.
• Capacità di coordinare subappaltatori e delivery di progetto.
• Conoscenza delle submittals Tier 2 e della documentazione O&M.

Mansioni

• Gestire submittals Tier 2, liste dati I/O, elenchi attrezzature e schemi.
• Coordinare la messa in servizio, collaudi e handover con il cliente.
• Gestire il team di subappaltatori e la pianificazione delle consegne.

Senior BMS Engineer – Data Centre Project, MilanLe informazioni riportate di seguito illustrano i requisiti del ruolo, l'esperienza richiesta ai candidati e le qualifiche associate.Location: Milan, ItalySalary: Up to €85,000 + PackageSector: Data Centres / Critical InfrastructureEmployment: PermanentWe're working with a leading engineering contractor delivering a major data centre project in Milan, and they're looking to appoint an experienced Senior BMS Engineer to take ownership of the technical delivery.This is a hands-on senior role for someone who can take a functional specification, coordinate the engineering and subcontractors, and make sure the finished BMS system works exactly as intended.The RoleYou'll take ownership of Tier 2 engineering and design submittals, including:Tier 2 submittalsI/O and data point listsEquipment schedules and schematicsDevice and wiring layoutsPanel design and interlocksFunctional specificationsDemonstration and acceptance documentationO&M documentationYou'll ensure mechanical equipment submittals meet project requirements and translate functional specifications into fully operational BMS systems.You'll also be involved in off-site testing, change control and design coordination, ensuring changes are properly recorded and auditable throughout the project.During ConstructionYou'll have responsibility for coordinating the BMS subcontractor and supporting the wider project team, including:Managing the subcontractor team on a day-to-day basisMonitoring programme, deliveries, engineering issues and qualitySupporting site safety and training requirementsAttending technical and progress meetingsParticipating in W1, W2 and W3 site walkdownsCoordinating engineering issues with the wider construction teamTesting, Commissioning & HandoverAs the project progresses towards completion, you'll support the full testing, commissioning and handover process, including:Ensuring testing and commissioning follows the project Quality PlanCertifying live BMS systems ahead of handoverDemonstrating systems to the client and relevant stakeholdersDelivering O&M manuals and record drawingsSupporting demobilisation and final handoverProducing project close-out documentationWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for an experienced BMS Engineer operating at Senior level, ideally with a background in:Data centresHigh-tech buildingsCritical infrastructureLarge-scale commercial or industrial projectsYou should be technically strong, comfortable working autonomously and experienced in coordinating BMS engineering, design and specialist subcontractors.The ideal candidate will be someone who can take ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do - with strong attention to detail and a genuine understanding of how BMS systems need to operate within complex mechanical and electrical environments. xysqume Additional Information: Consideration will be given to candidates belonging to protected categories under Italian Law 68/99.
