Hashlist is seeking a Technical Project Manager for Base Software in the automotive connectivity space. You will lead end‑to‑end planning, delivery, and integration of ECU base software, bridging engineering and program execution across internal teams, SoC vendors, and suppliers.

You will own BSW schedules, milestones, risks, and releases, coordinate multi‑team efforts, and manage change control and documentation.

Competenze

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 8+ years of experience in embedded automotive software development or technical program/project management.
  • Strong understanding of Base Software components: OS, drivers, bootloaders, diagnostics, communication stacks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet), memory drivers, security libraries, and xOTA frameworks.
  • Experience with automotive ECUs, preferably connectivity or telematics units, and managing complex software projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Git, Confluence, DOORS, or Polarion.
  • Preferred: experience with SoC platforms (Qualcomm, Renesas, NXP, NVIDIA, Samsung, TI) and cybersecurity, functional safety, and PMP/Scrum/Agile certification.

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager – Base Software (Connectivity ECU). This position leads the end‑to‑end planning, delivery, and integration of Base Software for advanced automotive connectivity ECUs (TCU, VCU, Connectivity Gateway), bridging engineering and program execution across internal teams, SoC vendors, and BSW suppliers.

  • Working model: Hybrid
Responsibilities
  • Own project planning for BSW deliverables including schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, and mitigation tracking
  • Coordinate development across internal BSW teams (Diagnostics, Communication, Memory Stack, Bootloaders, OS, Security, Watchdogs, xOTA) and external BSW, SoC, and middleware suppliers
  • Drive deliverables including software defects, integration issues, change requests, and releases
  • Facilitate technical alignment across Systems, Hardware, Validation, Cybersecurity, and other cross‑functional teams
  • Maintain program dashboards, KPIs, and executive status reports; support release planning and ECU software integration events
  • Manage change control, traceability, and documentation throughout the software lifecycle
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar discipline
  • 8+ years of experience in embedded automotive software development or technical program/project management
  • Strong understanding of Base Software components: OS, drivers, bootloaders, diagnostics, communication stacks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet), memory drivers, security libraries, and xOTA frameworks
  • Experience working with automotive ECUs, preferably connectivity or telematics units, and managing complex software projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Git, Confluence, DOORS, or Polarion
  • Preferred: experience with SoC platforms (Qualcomm, Renesas, NXP, NVIDIA, Samsung, TI), modem/TCU software, cellular/GNSS/Wi‑Fi/Bluetooth/V2X stacks, cybersecurity (ISO/SAE 21434), functional safety (ISO 26262), and PMP/Scrum/Agile certification
