Descrizione del lavoro

We are looking for a highly motivated, proactive, and energized professional to contribute to our market strategy approach, developing and executing the go-to-market proposition of AXA XL in Italy together with the Distribution team. In this highly market-facing role, your key mission is nourishing partnerships with clients and brokers to support business development, while providing high-profile client relationship management. As a Broker Relationship Manager, you will manage the ongoing commercial client portfolio, retain, renew, and build partnerships, acting as the intermediary between clients and Underwriting and Operations teams.

The Broker Relationship Manager is responsible for :

  • Customer Management

Independently managing accounts by coordinating all services, maintaining and enhancing the company’s relationships with existing and new clients through proactive and ongoing contact initiatives.

  • Using industry and customer data analysis to address clients’ needs and identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • Expanding existing accounts by identifying potential gaps in coverage, recommending, and implementing appropriate coverage.
  • Increasing the profitability of existing product lines by encouraging clients to use added-value services.
  • Looking for client solutions from a group perspective.
  • Maintaining timeliness and completeness when interacting with clients and colleagues.
  • Knowledge Management

Proactively maintaining partnership with the underwriting department by keeping them informed of pertinent account information.

  • Liaising with colleagues, researching, and maintaining knowledge of developing trends regarding underwriting, appetite, and pricing changes.

You will report to the Head of Distribution & Market Strategy, Italy.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Knowledge of the insurance industry or proven experience in the insurance sector.
  • Proficiency in Italian and English.
  • Data-driven approach to the market, leveraging technology and data to understand and anticipate customer needs and behaviors.
  • Systematic approach to business and analytical skills to build and execute ad-hoc business plans for market strategy projects.
  • Customer-centric decision making, active listening, and providing customized advice and solutions. Act as a brand ambassador.
  • Effective communication and relationship skills to interact with C-Level professionals internally and externally.
  • Ability to adapt flexibly to new circumstances, support change, think outside the rule-based procedures, and learn quickly from failures.
  • Teamwork skills, working effectively with members from diverse expertise, locations, and cultures to achieve collective goals.
