Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Oversee the daily operations of the bakery shop, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage production forecasts and inventory levels to minimize waste and maximize output.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure consistent standards across all products.
  • Collaborate with the Head Baker to set up and maintain an attractive bread display in various buffets.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Prepare for and pass inspections from regulatory bodies, demonstrating expertise and knowledge of industry standards.
  • Procure necessary ingredients and supplies from main stores as required.
  • Monitor and adjust recipes and yields to meet company standards.
  • Support the CDP Baker with completing daily consumption reports.

Qualifications :

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Baker in a high-end establishment (cruise ship or hotel experience preferred).
  • Familiarity with proper cleaning techniques and equipment usage.
  • Completion of high school or basic education equivalency is essential.
