BWI Group in Turin, Italy seeks a senior Technical Expert in physical modelling and system simulation to develop and validate high-fidelity models for braking and related automotive systems. You will translate physical behavior into reusable models, leverage Amesim and Simscape/Simulink, and support design through validation and integration.

The role emphasizes multi-domain modelling, calibration against experimental data, and collaboration with controls, hydraulics, and testing teams.

Competenze

Master's degree in a relevant engineering field.
Extensive experience in physical/system modelling and simulation in automotive.
Strong grasp of mechanical and hydraulic system dynamics.

Mansioni

Develop and maintain high-fidelity physical models of mechanical, hydraulic, and electro-mechanical automotive systems, especially braking.
Create 1D system-level models to study performance, dynamics, and interactions.
Use Amesim and Simscape/Simulink to build, calibrate, and validate models.
Lead modelling methodologies and best practices across toolchains.
Translate requirements into mathematical and physical representations.
Compare models with test-bench and vehicle measurements; calibrate and validate.
