Responsibilities

• Growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within the assigned territory on products; establish professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts.
• Report to the BioProcess Zone Filtration leader – South and Export and be part of the BioProcess Filtration team located in Italy; work remotely to cover North and Central Italy.
• Be responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit.
• Focus on growth and identify new business opportunities in the assigned territory.
• Forecast the filtration business, including recurring business and new opportunities.
• Collaborate with research or development to specify target molecules in clinical phases.
• Support other colleagues selling products not included in your portfolio.

Qualifications

• Education: degree in chemistry, biology, or an equivalent scientific degree.
• Experience: at least 5 years in sales and commercial roles; strong communication, negotiation, and active listening skills.
• Technical skills: knowledge of pharmaceutical processes.
• Language: fluent in English and Italian.

Travel & Other Requirements

• Willingness to travel at least 40% of the time, 2–3 days per week, with possible overnight stays; territory: North & Central Italy.
• Driver’s license: Type B.

Preferred

• Previous experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industry (production, R&D, or QA).
• Previous experience in similar technical commercial roles.
