Max Planck Society in Florence seeks an Academic Assistant (m/f/d) to develop an independent research project within the Borders department. The role requires moving across disciplines and dialoguing with historians and artists.

The successful candidate will engage in organizing activities, contribute to outputs, and reside in Florence from December 1, 2026; the contract lasts one year with possible extension.

Mansioni

• Collaborate in the coordination of the works of docs and postdocs working on the project.
• Collaborate with guest scholars, also from other disciplines.

• Plan and organize internal and external meetings, seminars, workshops, visits, trips, annual summer courses, exhibitions or other activities in collaboration with the Director.
